Key responsibilities
You will be part of our Product & Product Marketing team consisting of 4 fulltime employees and 3 student assistants. Tasks will touch upon:
Market and Customer Intelligence
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify customer needs, trends, and competitive insights
- Define and develop business-relevant customer segments, including profiling, buying behaviors, interests, and purchase drivers
Product Positioning and Communication
- Develop compelling product positioning, value propositions, messaging guidelines and pricing recommendations that resonate across different markets
- Partner with marketing teams to create impactful launch materials, including product videos, datasheets, sales presentations, and digital content
- Enable sales channels through comprehensive education on product features, benefits, and positioning
- Serve as the primary product thought leader internally and externally through speaking engagements and written content
Product Launch Management
- Develop and execute strategic go-to-market plans for new products to maximize business potential
- Lead global product launches through cross-functional coordination and implementation
- Orchestrate organizational alignment to ensure successful product launch execution
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and develop appropriate contingency plans to protect project timelines
- Establish and drive adoption for a new product development and launch playbook
Qualifications
You will succeed in this position if you have some of these qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth through effective product positioning and launches of new products, preferably in consumer electronics
- Strong understanding of product development processes and go-to-market strategies in both B2B and B2C environments
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellence in project management, including proficiency with relevant tools and methodologies
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing changing priorities
